About this All 22 Pokémon Football Game guide
The All 22 Pokémon Football Game does something unusual: it grades every Pokémon at every position, then refuses to tell you the result. You scout by eye, you commit, and at the end you get one number out of 1000.
This site is an unofficial guide to that game. It exists to hand you the missing piece — the fit rating — and to explain the machinery behind that final score. Not to replace the game's guesswork, but to let you spend it on something more interesting than arithmetic.
Where the numbers come from
Base stats, types, height, weight and Pokédex text come from the publicly available PokéAPI dataset, the same source the game's own artwork is drawn from. Nothing on this site is scraped from another fan guide.
How the fits are built
The game publishes a scouting chart — a stat is key, helps or a small part — but hides the numbers. We reconstructed the numbers, folded in the ceiling and the log-scaled weight, and recompute every fit from scratch. Every figure on the site comes out of that one engine.
What is an approximation
The final curve from the raw grade onto the 0–1000 Team Score is not documented, so our projected scores are a transparent estimate. The fits and rankings do not depend on it — only the projected score does.
Why it is built this way
Three principles, in order.

Show the working
A fit rating is only useful if you can trust it, so every Pokémon page prints the line-by-line sum that produced its number. No black boxes.

One source of truth
The weights live in one file and every page recomputes from them. If the game changes a formula, one edit moves the whole site instead of leaving stale tables behind.

Add something
Any guide can list the best players. The interesting question is why, and what it means for the roll of a challenge or the shape of a draft. That is the question this site tries to answer.
