Scouting guide
The All 22 Pokémon Football Game scouting chart
The All 22 Pokémon Football Game publishes a scouting chart that says a stat is key, helps or a small part — and keeps the numbers hidden. This guide puts every weight in the open: the same chart with the numbers filled in, out of 100 before the type bonus.
These weights feed the entire site. Change one and every fit rating, ranking and lineup moves with it.
Offense
Eleven starters. The line is five of them, which is why the position needs so much depth.

Defense
Eleven starters, but your formation swaps out three: the nose tackle and inside linebackers belong to the 3-4, the tackles and middle linebacker to the 4-3.

Stats stop counting at the ceiling
Each stat is read between a floor and a ceiling: 20 and below earns nothing; at the ceiling it earns the full share and anything higher is wasted. HP caps at 150, Attack, Defense, Sp. Atk and Sp. Def at 140, and Speed at 130. A Speed of 160 scores exactly the same as 130.
It means a balanced athlete with two strong stats usually beats a one-trick outlier — which is why the game's best fits are well-rounded box legends rather than the Pokémon with the single highest number.
Weight is read on a log scale
Mostly because the real numbers span from a 0.1 kg Gastly to a 950 kg Groudon. Going from 50 to 100 kg is worth exactly as much as going from 400 to 800. In practice: 100 kg already earns about 68% of the credit, 200 kg about 84%, and everything from 400 kg upward gets all of it.
So you do not need the heaviest Pokémon alive on your line. You need someone past 400 kg — and there are only a couple of dozen of those.
Height only helps three spots
Wide receiver, tight end and cornerback, where it stands in for reach. It scales from 0.3 m to 2.2 m and then stops, so Seviper's 8'10" is worth nothing extra at linebacker.
Everywhere else, being enormous is neutral. Height is 2% of a lineup's score in total, which tells you how much the game cares about it.
The two stats that do not mean what they say
Sp. Atk and Sp. Def have nothing to do with attacking or defending. The game repurposes them.
Sp. Atk is arm and touch
It is the quarterback's key stat, worth a third of the position on its own, and it helps receivers and safeties. Nowhere else. A Pokémon with a huge Sp. Atk and nothing else is a quarterback or a spare part.
Sp. Def is composure
Reading the play instead of being faster than it. It matters most for quarterbacks, cornerbacks and safeties, and a little for receivers and linebackers. Pass rushers ignore it entirely and win with Attack and Speed.
Types, ranked
Every bonus in the game, biggest first. Only the single best matching bonus applies, so a dual type never stacks.
The full breakdown of where each one applies is on the types page.
