All 22 Pokémon Football Game lineup optimizer

Give us 22, and we'll tell you where they play. The All 22 Pokémon Football Game never shows you a fit rating, so you normally find out where a Pokémon belongs by playing them and hoping. This tool does it the other way round: put your whole squad in, and it searches every arrangement of the 3-4, 4-3, fullback and slot formations to find the one that scores highest.

It uses the same engine as the rest of All 22 Football — the same weights, the same fits, the same four-worst-fits penalty the Team Score applies. Only there is no guessing left to do. It is a companion to the game, not a replacement for it: you still draft and play at all22pokemon.com ↗.

Pick a squad, get the best arrangement

Add up to 22 Pokémon, hit optimize, and the same search that builds our best-lineup pages will place every one of them where they do the most good — then tell you which spots are still costing you.

Everything runs in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, and no account is needed.

What it searches

A greedy pass assigns your best players to your most valuable slots first, then the search keeps trying single swaps, pair swaps and three-way rotations until nothing improves. Pair swaps alone get stuck; a lineman, a fullback and a linebacker often have to move all at once.

Why the two numbers differ

The raw grade out of 100 is exact — it is our weighted average with the four weakest fits folded back in. The projected Team Score is an estimate, because the game keeps its final 0–1000 curve to itself.

The weak-spot list

Because the four worst fits are counted twice, a star cannot rescue a hole. After each optimization the tool names your four weakest starters and the available Pokémon that would raise the grade most — which is usually a boring lineman, not a legendary.

How to read the result

Three things to look at, in order.

  1. Check the formation it picked. If you chose "let the optimizer choose", the label above the field tells you which of the four it settled on — the answer is not always the one you would guess.
  2. Look at the four worst row, not the average. A team of solid 65s beats a team of 90s with two holes, so the number that moves your season is the low one.
  3. Then read the weak-spot list. Each suggestion shows the raw-grade gain from swapping that player in. A +0.5 looks tiny and is not: raw grade points are worth roughly 20–40 Team Score points each up near the top of the scale.
