Position guide
Every position in the All 22 Pokémon Football Game
Every position reads a different mix of stats. Some are pure stopwatch, some are a weighing scale, and one is mostly a measuring tape. Get the mix right and an average Pokémon can look like a star.
The game grades 15 positions and an optional kicker, but a team fields 22 starters — those are not the same number, and the difference trips people up. Six roles are doubled up (wide receiver, defensive end, outside linebacker, cornerback, safety, and either the inside linebackers or the defensive tackles) while all five offensive linemen share a single grading recipe.
So the count of jobs is smaller than the count of starters, and every one below is shown the way the game draws it on the field.
Offense
Eleven starters drawn from six graded roles. Five of them take the field no matter what; the sixth depends on your formation.
The five line chips all open the same page — the game grades all five linemen with one recipe, and each is worth the same share of the Team Score.

Kicker
The sixteenth role you can fill, and the only one that never counts toward the Team Score. It is graded on Sp. Atk, Attack and Speed — so only ever fill it once your 22 starters are set.
